Gangwon-doSeoraksan Mountain

Seoraksan Mountain is situated right in the middle of Baekdudaegan Mountain Range. It's one of the most famous mountains in Korea with a number of picturesque sites such as Baegundong Valley, Suryeomdong Valley, and Gayadong Valley with Baekdamsa Temple in the middle. These valleys are in "Naeseorak," or "Inner Seorak" in Korea. The outer side of the mountain, called "Oeseorak," has a number of strangely shaped cliffs flanking Cheonbuldong Valley. Popular destinations in the southern part of Seoraksan Mountain, or simply "Namseorak" in Korean, include Hangyeryeong Pass, Jeombongsan Mountain, Jangsudae Pavilion, and Daeseung Falls, which is regarded as one of the three most beautiful waterfalls in Korea.
