Daegwallyeong in Pyeongchang has a number of tourist attractions such as ski slopes, a resort, the Daegwallyeong Snow Festival, Korea's largest ranch, and pollack drying fields. Daegwallyeong is expected draw in more tourists because Pyeongchang was where the 2018 Olympic Winter Games were held.
